Hey Mark! I always enjoy your videos, but haven't seen them pop up in a while in subscription feed, even though you have clearly been uploading. I just want to share my deepest regret for your loss, I had no idea this had passed. Wishing you and your family all the strength, love and courage to get through this together. This was really saddening to read. Cancer is such a shitshow.. My sympathies!

Brilliant bit of kit these, only issue i've found is it wont diagnose all modern cars after 2020 since some ECUs communicate exclusively over DoIP, the newer Range Rover Evoque L551 being an example.

Did your patch job work? You missed the 4 board hold solder-down pins. Mine the solder broke loose to the 4 board hold-down pins (no screws there); and all went to hell from there. Engineers could have put conductive springs under the main harness, solenoids, and pump push-pins.

I bough this to reprogram the throttle body on my clio, turns out I can't, even though it says on their coverage list as a listed function. It doesn't do a single more thing than the free app Pyclip with an obd dongle i was using before. Was also hoping that I could diagnose a peugeot 306, confirmed that the ecu was supported, turns out it doesn't too. I select the ecu and the screen goes white and nothing happens. Waste of money.

Have to wonder why no class-action suits against the module manufacturer. Connections are garbage, and especially considering the vibration when the solenoids engage to pressure up and down. The solenoids bouncing around against the board, like a rigged casino slot machine for the dealer/manufacturer; a literal jackpot, lottery.

So if the emergency release is pulled, the wires have to be taken off the caliper to re-set it? Is that why one of my wires snapped?

My power steering falls out when the motor gets hot and I turn the engine off after about 30 minutes I have the power steering back

You have to report stored petrol to the to the authorise in europe? I would consider that an invasion of my privacy. I keep multiple 5 gallon cans in my garage for lawn mowing equipment and for my emergency generator.

Could this be used to torque lug nuts using a digital torque adaptor like the one you used in this demonstration? Means you dont need to buy a dedicated torque wrench. At the 17 minute mark when you were using the tool as a normal ratchet to tighten the lug nuts, maybe just set the digital torque adaptor to 80nm or whatever the desired tightness may be and then wait for the adaptor to beep ?

Its such a good idea 😂 ford had same brain wave with the ecoboom engine and of course no one had had any trouble with either of these engines

I've been told that by removing ethanol like that you're lowering the octane number of gasoline and that can and will damage your engine if thats your plan.

Easier if you remove caliper

Removing the ABS sensors was not as bad as I expected after watching this, and my car is quite rusty. The bolt came out fairly easily then using mole grips I just gripped each side of where the wire goes in (to prevent breaking the bolt hole tab) and started twisting gently and pulling. It was tight but came out ok after about 5 minutes
